THE WHEATSHEAF is a lovely 18th Century FREE HOUSE with a contemporary feel located just outside central Worcester in the St. Johns area.
'We are what we are' and proud of it; a simple no fuss traditional Inn with traditional values, selling a fine range of excellent beers and ciders from local producers.
We always have something special on offer: when it's cold outside, keep warm by our roaring log fire, while in the summer months you and the kids will enjoy our outdoor terrace with panoramic views of the city scape, River Severn and Worcester Race Course.
Savouring our selection of 6 real ales, lagers and traditional ciders is the perfect way to spend time with friends during the week and why not try and win 10 free pints of beer at our famous Sunday Night Quiz which is free to enter.
We have a selection of snacks, pies and sandwiches available.

REAL ALES
We stock at least 6 real ales on draught from a mix of both national and local breweries. Before we bought the Wheatsheaf, turning it into a Freehouse, the Inn was a Marstons/Banks's tied house for over 40 years, so staying true to our roots you will always find Marstons Burton Bitter and Banks's Mild available.
In addition you will always find a beer from St. Georges Brewery in Callow End available here, which is our most local Micro Brewery.
DOGS WELCOME
Dogs and well behaved owners are more than welcome in the Wheatsheaf! We are a family friendly pub and what could be nicer than taking the dog on a family walk along the Worcestershire Way, then calling into the Wheatsheaf for some refreshments.
You can come in and meet Phoebe our resident Airedale Terrier 'Guard Dog' always on look out!!
ACCESSS TO THE RIVER SEVERN
There is a public footpath linking the Wheatsheaf directly to the beautiful towpath running along the west side of the River Severn but be warned you will need a pint after tackling the 60 plus stairs up to the bar!!
